The name Betakan is derived from the 29th hexagram K'an in the Chinese study of I Ching. Also known as the Abyss, it is formed by the trigrams water over water.
k'an is interpreted as "a potentially dangerous time for your business and a calm head will be need to help resolve the issues."
that's where Betakan LLC comes in.
the ripple effect
As defined by the Dictionary,
a ripple effect is a series of things that happen as the result
of a particular action or event. Similarly, this is what Student Government aims to achieve.

Every new initiative completed
by Student Government should cause a ripple of change throughout campus.
​
I incorporated this idea into the branding by using rings rippling out from one center point. These rings became an asset to the brand. I use them on internal and external SG documents, as well as signage in the SG office.
